These naturally-dyed handmade napkins are constructed from medium-weight cotton gauze. The napkin has a soft drape, a crinkled texture, with a fringe edge finish and a single stitch.

The cotton has been dyed a pale yellow hue with Maclura pomifora (Osage Orange). Osage Orange is a hardy deciduous tree and a member of the fig family. This species is originally native to the US. You might know it as a hedge apple tree with its distinctive softball-sized lime-green fruit and bubbly texture.
